Allama Iqbal's poetry is very motivational for us as a nation. The theme of his poetry is different from general poetry of other poets. It is a guideline for us to be united as a nation and to rebuild ourselves. In the situations of trouble and crisis he shows us a way to tackle and overcome problems. He motivated the Muslim youth which played role in alteration of subcontinent's scenario. He is true Muslim in sense and it was also his habit to recite Holy Quran regularly and during recitation he was unaware of surrounding although his tears started to fall. He is well known poet around the world and his message and predictions present in his poetry is not only limited to Muslim but staunched to all mankind. Therefore we should follow his teachings to get to our goals. May Allah Almighty give us strength to fulfill his dream and make us active. Also may laziness distinguish from us. I hope that the day is not far when the dream of greatest poet will become true. B...

آج ایک سال بیت گیا جناب اشفاق صدیقی صاحب کو ہم سے بچھڑے ہوۓ. پروفیسر اشفاق صدیقی صاحب کا شمار ان چند لوگوں میں ہوتا ہے جو کہ حقیقی معانوں میں استاد کہلانے کے قابل ہیں. جناب نے ساری عمر درس و تدریس کے فرائض نہایت احسن طریقے اور ایمان داری سے سرانجام دیے. اشفاق صاحب درحقیقت ایک درویش صفت ولی اللہ تھے. عاجزی و انکساری ان کے مزاج کا نہایت اہم جز تھی. خوش اخلاقی و خوش الحانی ان کی فطرت میں شامل تھی. فراخ دلی میں وہ اپنی مثال آپ تھے. اگر چاہتے تو ریٹائرمنٹ کے بعد بھی خوب پیسہ کما سکتے تھے لیکن انہیں پیسے کی ہرگز طمع نہ تھی. اتنے بڑے پروفیسر ہونے کے باوجود شام کے وقت اپنے گھر میں علمی طور پہ کمزور بچوں کو مفت تعلیم دیتے اور اگر کوئ طالب علم معاوضہ یا فیس پیش کرنے کے بارے میں دریافت کرتا تو جلال میں آجاتے. استاد محترم کا آبائ شہر گجرانولہ ہے لیکن عمر کا بیشتر حصہ لاہور ماڈل ٹاؤن میں گزارا جب کہ ریٹائرمنٹ کے بعد لاہور کے علاقہ جوہر ٹاؤن میں رہائش پزیر ہوۓ اور آخری وقت تک اسی مکان کے مکین رہے. آپ نے ڈی پی ایس سکول میں درس و تدریس کے فرائض سرانجام دیے. عجب شخصیت تھی جسے اپنے پیشے سے عش...

Well, I would like to the recall the message of Hazrat Iqbal for youngsters,He said, “Mohabbat mujy un jawanon se hy, Sitaron p dalte hn jo kumand.” i.e. keep your morale high.. Later, He encourages to be strong in difficult circumstances… “Tundi baad-e-mukhalif sy na ghabra ay uqaab, Ye tu chalti hy tujy uncha uranay k liey” Being a strong, self-reliant person is strongly advocated by Iqbal because it essentially involves belief and confidence in one’s abilities. And this is what we all are meant to do because we all have tremendous potential to achieve things. With self-confidence and self-respect, there is nothing that we cannot achieve. بسم اللّٰہ الرحمن الرحیم.  الحمد اللّٰہ و الصّلٰوۃ والسّلام علی رسول اللّٰہ۔ مندرجہ ذیل شعر کی تشریح پیشِ خدمت ہے۔  *یہ فاقہ کش جو موت سے ڈرتا نہیں ذرا روح محمّد ﷺ اس کے بدن سے نکال دو*  اصل میں  یہ شعر نظم "ابلیس کا فرمان اپنے سیاسی فرزندوں کے نام"  سے لیا گیا ہے. اقبال اس میں کہنا  چاہ رہے ہیں کہ یہ جو مسلمان ہیں یہ بھوکے رہ لیتے ہیں، فاقے کر لیتے ہیں اور موت کا بھی ڈر ان کے اندر نہیں, یہ اپنے اللّٰہ کے لیے, اپنے رسول ﷺ کے لیے, اپنے دین کے لیے مر مٹنے کے لیے فوراً تیار ہوجاتے ہیں اور یہ جزبہ ان کے اندر کیوں ہے؟ کیونکہ ان کے اندر روح محمد ﷺ ہے. روح محمد کیا ہے؟ یہ عشق رسول ﷺ ہے, محبت رسول ﷺ ہے. چناں چہ یہ محبت رسول ﷺ، یہ عشق رسول ﷺ, یہ جذبہِ رسول ﷺ اس سے کفار ڈرتے ہیں، ان کے قلعوں کی دیواریں لرز جاتی ہیں۔ اس عشق رسول ﷺ کے جذبہ کو دیکھ کر، وہ چاہتے ہیں کہ یہ ختم ہو جائے۔ سو وہ یہ جذبہ  ختم کرنے کی سازشیں کر رہے ہیں، آزادی اظہار خیال کے نام پر. وہ چاہتے ہیں کہ مسلمانوں میں نبی پاک ﷺ کے بارے میں(منفی انداز سے) بولنے کی سب  کو کھلی چھٹی مل جاۓ جسے ...

Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal is our national poet. I want to pay an enormous tribute to his glorious and ever lasting contributions to the establishment of Muslims as a separate nation in the world. His idea of Pakistan has made us all in an infinite debt to his prestigious soul. I'm proud of being a Muslim of such a nation who's foundations were laid by an academician of top rank, a barrister of huge repute, a poet of East, a great philosopher, a scholar of all times, a wonderful politician and a spiritual father of holy land - _Pakistan_. Today on 9th of November, Khudi Welfare Foundation is launching this literary website which aims to pay tribute to our National poet Hazrat Allama Iqbal. We shall also post some educational materials and new initiatives. Especially highlighting issues of society including negative and positive aspects. We should teach and learn from each other as sharing of knowledge increases knowledge. To aware youngsters with the dream of Allama Iqbal and to spread his message is our responsibility. No one can take out his granted love and spirit from our hearts. And one day by the blessings of Allah Almighty we shall progress as a developed nation from developing nation.
