Visit to Jam-e-Shirin Park Lahore

Jam e Shirin Park is located at Gulberg Rd, Block C3,  Gulberg III, Lahore, Punjab.

It’s a very beautiful place to visit especially for people who love morning walk. Its beautiful plants and trees give an aesthetic look and provide gratification.

Large Grass at Jam-e-Shirin Park

This park is overlooked by Qarshi Group and Parks and Horticulture Authority Lahore. In this report, we shall share some interesting facts and glimpses of this beautiful park. 

Those who want to get closer to nature and is seeking peace must visit it. It's also a good place to release stress, anxiety and depression.

Track: 

Its track is almost 2 km with beauteous scenes all around.

People run, jog and walk on this track. Some families along with children also come for a walk in the evening.

The Quaid-e-Azam Picture Gallery:

The Quaid-e-Azam Picture Gallery is presented at the entrance of the park. Pictures are representing historical events and some glimpses from the personal life of our beloved leader Muhammad Ali Jinnah. This step by the Qarshi and PHA is very patriotic. As young generation will know more about their leader and it will sow seeds of loyalty in their hearts.

The Nursery:

Nursery is established in the Jam-e-Shirin Park which is managed by the PHA. It has several types of plants which are also available for sale to the general public. The beautiful flowers and plants in the nursery make oneself happy.

It also promotes the culture of plantation among the citizens. Its also a good and productive hobby. Those who don't have enough space to plant in their homes must keep pots of beautiful flowers.

Birds at Jam-e-Shirin Park:

Jam-e-Shirin Park has became a natural habitat for several birds. Due to increase in pollution and deforestation by urbanization, many common birds species have became extinct. This park has provided a natural ecosystem to the birds and enhanced their growth with in its territory.

Exercise Machines for Men:
Some exercise machines are placed for the men. They exercise to maintain their health. Because health is wealth.

Ladies Exercise Area:

A separate exercise area for females has been established in the Jam-e-Shirin Park. This area is covered to maintain the privacy. It has different type of exercise and gym machines to ease the activity.

Children Playing Area:
Swings has been placed for the children. Children come to park with their families and enjoy themselves playing.

Sitting Area:

There is a beautiful sitting area in the park which is surrounding by the nature and the charming voices of birds. Its very pleasant to sit on wooden benches and feel the beauty of nature.

Visitors came for picnic also sits there and enjoy their lunch.

Hay Making:

The hay is made by the grass which is cut at the park and its not wasted. This hay is later utilized for the useful purpose.

Trees:

Many large, ancient and beautiful trees are present in the park. Which has a long lasting impact on the mind and heart.

Plants:

Different plant of trees is grown in the park. It will help to reduce the pollution and make our environment cooler in the future.
